Scottish DIY label Lost Map Records and Kid Canaveral host this special showcase for a bargain price!

Kid Canaveral are five friends who make music together in Edinburgh, Scotland. Their third album Faulty Inner Dialogue, was released by Lost Map Records in the summer of 2016 as the much anticipated follow-up to their Scottish Album of the Year longlisted Now That You Are A Dancer. Faulty Inner Dialogue finds the band building on the electronic sounds that featured around the fringes of Now That You Are A Dancer while retaining their instantly identifiable core of miscreant-romantic melodic guitar pop.

Manuela are the latest signings to Lost Map and announced their debut album in January. The self-titled release is out 31st March 2017. The London-based project comprises vocalist and songwriter Manuela Gernedel and multi-instrumentalist and producer Nick McCarthy (Franz Ferdinand, FFS). The album is a joyous gem of addictive, eclectic, off-the-wall and instantly refreshing DIY pop.

Firestations are a dream-pop band from London that mixes scuzzy indiepop with spacey folk. Sometimes a bit like Sparklehorse, Yo La Tengo, Low, American Analog Set, Veronica Falls, Pentangle. They are hard at work on their second album and will be showcasing new material at the show. They played Kid Canaveral’s annual sold out all-dayer “Christmas Baubles” show in Edinburgh and the bands decided they just had to play together again.
