Hullo there. The Pictish Trail, here. Thank you for visiting Lost Map … where Eigg marks the spot.
(sorry. terrible start.)
If your eyes and ears are at least partly functional, you’ll have noticed that we’ve been on our collective journey for more than a year. Over that time we’ve signed up 2 new bands, released 3 albums, as well as 3 repressings, 2 singles, an EP, 12 audio-postcards, 3 hidden cassettes, 3 bobble hats and a t-shirt; we’ve hosted our own 3-day festival, put on showcase tours, all-day events, Xmas Baubles, club nights and various launch parties. If you’ve purchased any of our music, or attended any of our live events over the past year, then you are the recipient of our warmest thanks. We love you, very much.
And where are we now? Well, our current location is CLUMPS - a brand new section of the website, where we plan to purge and show off our collective lumps. Expect a series of mood-altering MixMap podcasts, semi-regular goofball photo-diaries, hairy clippings of Lost Map gossip, amongst other random stuff.
The first CLUMPS yield is a new Lost Map label sampler - featuring rare and exclusive tracks from each member of the collective: eagleowl, Monoganon, Rozi Plain, Kid Canaveral, Seamus Fogarty, Insect Heroes, Tuff Love, Randolph’s Leap and me. This sampler also provides the soundtrack to a short film about our Howlin’ Fling! festival, captured by The Forest Of Black.
To receive your free download of our 9-track label sampler you need to sign-up to our mailing list. If you’ve already signed up, you will have received an email which contains a download link. Signing up to the mailing list is a good idea if you like discounts, as it’ll be the only place where we will reveal promo codes for our webshop.
ALSO - everyone who is on our mailing list will be entered into a prize draw to win a hamper of Lost Map goodies. You need to sign up before Friday 24th October to be in with a chance to win.
We’ll be updating this page with new content every-so-often - so be sure to check your CLUMPS regularly. Later this week we’ll have the first in our series of MixMap podcasts. More news on that soon ...
