VISITATIONS 0201 - ARTHUR KING

Back in 2019, we invited Grandaddy front-man, Jason Lytle, over to the Isle of Eigg with some of his pals from LA’s Dangerbird Records. Over the course of one week, they created this immersive, ambient soundscape LP - comprising of field recordings of life on the island, with kosmische synth explorations, blissed out drum-machine beats and fuzzed-up sustained guitar lines. Think of the KLF’s Chill Out LP, as reimagined by Animal Collective, and you’re along the right lines.
