Adam Ross & co have a wee teaser postcard for you, PLUS some very special guests have just been announced for the Randolph's Leap album launch on April 5th ...
Following a blistering set at Kid Canaveral's sold out sweat-fest Lumber Party on Friday night, Randolph's Leap are now doing the necessary pelvic thrusts and lunges in order to prepare themselves for their forthcoming ALBUM LAUNCH PARTY.
The band will be celebrating the release of their latest LP, Clumsy Knot, with a Lost Map show at Kinning Park Complex in Glasgow on Saturday April 5th. Not only will ticket-holding patrons witness the musical finesse of Adam Ross and his seven co-horts, they will also be treated to performances from two very special guests: Sweet Baboo and Rachael Dadd!
SWEET BABOO is the work of singer-songwriter extraordinnaire, Stephen Black - a very good friend of Lost Map, and the production wünderkind behind Pictish Trail's Secret Soundz Vol.2. Like the 'Leap, he is regularly praised by BBC Radio hero Marc Riley, for his lyrical deft/daftness and addictive melody making. Baboo tells us he is keeping his calendar clear for most of 2014, so make sure you don't miss this chance to catch one of the UK's finest songwriters, performing solo!
RACHAEL DADD is another close pal of ours, and an incredibly gifted musician. A member of Whalebone Polly, and a regular collaborator with Rozi Plain, Rachael has forged a startling solo career over the past decade - with more than five albums, and a handful of EPs and singles to her name. Her music exudes a natural beauty; immediately engaging, honest and singular. We have the immense pleasure of releasing her new single, 'Strike Our Scythes', as an audio postcard on Lost Map later in the Spring.
