Having just come off tour with Ride, and playing to a packed out tent at Field Day, Tuff Love are currently locked away in Suse's flat, putting the finishing touches to some new recordings. DO NOT DISTURB. We're not allowed to tell you any more about the sounds emanating from that room ...
BUT ... we can tell you that the band have just announced a string of dates in November. They're playing Sheffield (9th), Leiceister (10th), Brighton (11th), London (12th), Hebden Bridge (13th), Manchester (14th) and York (15th) ... with more dates to be announced later.
But before all that, the Tuffs have got a jam-packed summer of festivals ...
For the second consecutive year, we are ecstatic to say that Tuff Love are at Britain's biggest music festival, GLASTONBURY, on Sat, Jun 27, thanks to a kind invitation from the good people at BBC Introducing. This is obviously Quite A Big Deal, and we are thusly dead happy and excited for them. But neither so happy nor excited as to be prepared to do their washing when they get home (sorry Tuffs, you're on your own there).
And then just when you thought there were no more major festivals left for Tuff Love to play this summer (see schedule below), along comes LATITUDE. The Tuffs will be there too, on Sun, Jul 19, on the DIY Presents: The Alcove stage. Huzzah! By that point they will officially be proper festival veterans, recognisable for their thousand-yard stares (view from the back of the bar queue), and acrobatic ability to take a cack without touching the toilet seat. Not that the artist loos at Latitude won't be fragrant and lovely, of course (they won't).
The full listing of upcoming Tuff Love live shows, and ticket links, are below this amazing weeeedio ... Just imagine this song playing at full volume infront of your face while you are 'festival-happy' on hot-cider.
