Seamus Fogarty's new EP Ducks and Drakes is out on September 4, 2015 on super rare-edition 12” vinyl with self-designed screen-printed sleeve (250 copies only) and as a BandCamp / iTunes download. For a limited time, you can purchase the 12" EP with the double CD of Seamo's debut album, God Damn You Mountain, at a special price of just £14.99.
It will be launched with a "launch" show, such is the custom, at Servants Jazz Quarters in London TONIGHT ... that's Tuesday, September 1. Tickets are on sale here.
It's Seamus's first new material since his critically lauded debut album God Damn You Mountain was given a full release on Lost Map in February 2014. You can get a glimpse of the sumptuous innards of Ducks and Drakes by having a watch of the extremely bonny video for the title track (at the bottom of this post), a shadow-puppetry animation masterpiece directed by Drew Dir of Chicago's Manual Cinema. Besides the EP launch show, Seamus is going to be supporting Ducks and Drakes with a bunch of intimate concert experiences in such assorted places as London, Reading and, um, London again (Green Man beer festival, *hic*). Relevant informations pertaining to said encounters are as follows.
