Kid Canaveral travelled far and wide in Scotland last month on a short tour making many friends and probably a few enemies but mostly friends along the way. If you caught them - and the police are still trying - then thanks for that and as a reward here is all the scoop on their forthcoming new album Faulty Inner Dialogue (we realise that you'll be able to claim this reward even if you didn't catch them on tour but you know like whatever nobody's perfect).
Faulty Inner Dialogue, which as we say is a new album by the band Kid Canaveral (try and keep up), will be their third album and it will be delivered unto an ill-prepared and grateful world on the date of July 29, 2016 AD. Its mostly song-based contents number more than 11 but less than 13, and include such heady highlights as the afore-previewed 'First We Take Dumbarton' (watch the video here and buy the PostMap postcard single here) and the latest single 'Tragic Satellite' (which premiered over at GoldFlakePaint earlier in the week). Overall if you were to say to us "it sounds like Kid Canaveral have gone a wee bit electronic, but not too electronic, and I like that," then we'd likely nod in hearty agreement and offer to buy you a pork pie.
Faulty Inner Dialogue will have a bottle of champagne ceremonially cracked off its bows and be formally launched onto the choppy seas of pop with a show at Summerhall in Edinburgh on Saturday, July 30th and we'd just love to see you there, we really would you know. You can purchase tickets individually here - or you can purchase as part of a special album bundle!
