Howlin’ Fling! is a live music event, hosted by Pictish Trail and his record label Lost Map. It takes place in and around the Ceilidh Hall on the Hebridean Isle of Eigg, in Scotland.
The next one is happening over the weekend of Friday 31st May & Saturday 1st June 2019.
Tickets cost £168, which includes a ferry trip to and from the island, as well as camping. Over 18’s only.
Tickets go on general sale at 12noon (BST) on Saturday 2nd February.
Those who have subscribed to Lost Map’s VISITATIONS series will have an opportunity to purchase tickets a few days before they go on general sale, and will receive an email about this soon. There will also be a small batch of tickets available to purchase at Burns & Beyond Cultural Trail in Edinburgh on Saturday 26th January - where Lost Map are curating a Howlin’ Fling! inspired event, at a secret location. Maximum 2 tickets per customer. More information on that event, here.
We’ve chartered a ferry to take ticket holders over to the island from the town of Arisaig - there’ll be multiple sailings to Eigg on Thursday 30th May and Friday 31st May. The return ferries will run on Sunday 2nd June and Monday 3rd June. The ferry can only take 70 passengers at a time, and ticket-holders will be informed as to how to reserve their place on a ferry.
What happens at Howlin’ Fling!? Well, there’ll be live music + DJs on the Friday evening, and all day Saturday. For those that want to stick around, we’ll have some more live music on the Sunday (2nd June). We will announce the line-up in a few months time - but you can expect a lot of acts from the Lost Map label, as well as some very special guests.
