WATCH THE VIDEO FOR GRASSCOURT'S NEW TRACK 'GO AGAIN' + NEW EP OUT TODAY AS PART OF POSTMAP CLUB
WATCH/SHARE 'GO AGAIN' NOW':
Grasscourt's very excellent new EP is "a journey through self-reflection, relationships, déjà vu and sandwiches," they say, and we can totally relate b/c sandwiches often give us pause for self-reflection too, e.g. that time we made a sandwich by folding together two whole supermarket own-brand margherita oven pizzas effectively as extravagant bread slices, smeared both up with Lurpak, filled the middle with a frenzied mess of thin-sliced honey-roast ham, crudely finger-shredded cocktail sausages, extra cheese. Ate the whole thing in one sitting, watching an old re-run of classic Whiteley/Vorderman-era Countdown on Gold. Turned off the TV and spent a long time staring solemnly into the middle-distance considering our life choices, wondering if it were perhaps occasions such as this that explained why we had up to that point never before had a meaningful relationship (other than with sandwiches). A moment of déjà vu followed – an uncanny feeling that we had just gone to the kitchen and made the very same sandwich all over again (narrator's voice: "he literally had"). Let's hear it for sandwiches!
Anyway, 360° makers of kaleidoscopic electro-acoustic audio-visual wonderment Grasscourt's new EP. Featuring four brand new tracks, the ‘Connect Part One EP’ is out today as part of our PostMap Club subscription service – which sees members posted two brand new EPs or singles every month as snail-mail postcards stamped with unique download codes (more info on all that below). The stunning, self-made video for 'Go Again' – which is quite trippy and thus not recommended viewing on a bellyful of pizza-sandwich – is available to watch and share now after premiering on Folk Radio UK. Grasscourt are Tom Percival and Matt Lacey from Stroud, Gloucestershire. They still make and record all their music in Tom's attic, but the band's line-up has now expanded to five members. That's a lot of extra sandwiches!

LAST CHANCE FOR MARCH POSTMAP CLUB
(ALSO FEATURING RANDOLPH'S LEAP)
So look we're not crashing out of the EU today as forecast – that's been delayed for at least a couple of weeks – and you should treat yourself, you really should. Break into your "no deal" stockpile stash, eat an extra can of Crosse and Blackwell Hunger Breaks All Day Breakfast ™ for lunch, use two sheets of toilet roll per wipe instead of just the one. Spend that cash you were saving for the post-Brexit black market, and treats like dead rat burgers and a family camping holiday to the rubbish tip, on a subscription to Lost Map's PostMap Club. Which this month in addition to the aforementioned new EP by Grasscourt also features a new release by Randolph's Leap.
‘Mull’ is a doomed love-song about a week spent on a west coast Scottish island in early March with a car that kept breaking down. Featuring both original and alternative versions of ‘Mull’ plus a brand-new track called ‘Asphalt’ and a brand new recording of old favourite ‘Uncharted’, it's really very good. Adam, for Randolph's Leap is he (most of the time), is touring all over the place in coming weeks and months, including to some obscure corners of Scotland which tbqh we're not entirely convinced he hasn't just made them up ("Knoydart" 🧐). See below for a full list of dates.
A reminder of the many benefits of signing up to Lost Map's PostMap Club and the two membership tiers:
REGULAR BREW
(£3 + postage, per month)
- Postcards (obvs)! At least two collectible PostMap postcards sent to your door at the end of every month – each containing download codes for a mixture of brand new music on Lost Map, alongside a random selection from our archives
- Badge! Plus a new badge for every year of your subscription
- Monthly newsletter! Containing hot goss / farmyard shite
- Discounts! On other Lost Map releases, merchandise and gigs
- Feelgood glow! Help support a plucky young independent record label go about its merry business
GOLD BLEND
(£5 + postage, per month)
- All of the above except with a bigger badge
- Suppose that a Regular Brew member and a Gold Blend member were contestants facing off on popular Channel 4 teatime game show Countdown in the 90s. Intelligent/sexy co-host Carol Vorderman has, for a laugh, deliberately pre-loaded the vowels and consonants in such a way that for one lucky competitor, they will spell out a rude word like 'POO' or 'CUNTFLAPS', ensuring said contestant's enshrinement in TV immortality. Be aware that Carol would only ever do this for the Gold Blend member.

COME TO CALLUM EASTER'S ALBUM LAUNCH PARTY
PRE-ORDER HERE OR NOWHERE NOW FOR JUST £13:
https://bit.ly/2HAiyo9
It's only a week – one week! – until the release of Callum Easter's very special debut album Here Or Nowhere. Which doesn't leave you much time to Febreze your best underwear, have that bath you've kept putting off since February and just generally sort yourself out (seriously, just sort yourself out eh?), ready for the launch party at Leith FAB Cricket Club in Edinburgh, on Saturday, April 6 (tickets on the door, cash only).
You can pre-order a copy of Here Or Nowhere now from us (for just £13!), for delivery by release day on Friday, giving you one full day to learn the lyrics of all the songs and then scream them at him word-for-word and scare him and everyone else around you and probably be firmly asked to leave. Or you can buy in person at the launch party on Saturday, perhaps even from Callum himself if he can tolerate your odour (your eau de Febreze is fooling no one). His patter's a lot better than ours tbf, as demonstrated by this lovely interview with God is in the TV. Look, buy it from us, buy it from him, we don't honestly care. Just buy it. And sort yourself out. You stink.

PT ON THE TV
Typically it's only episodes of shows such as Crimewatch or Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew that give us cause to boast about our very own Pictish Trail being on the telly. But tune in tomorrow night at 9pm to ALT on BBC Alba, and you'll be able to see him do songs (not crime/drugs) ON THE ACTUAL TELE BOX.
